On October 9th, 2013 at a joint meeting of the Harness Horse Breeders of NYS and the Agriculture and NYS Horse Breeding Development Fund (NYSS), a proposal was floated that would substantially cut the purses raced for at the 2014 Yonkers Legs of the NYSS races.
