YONKERS ANNOUNCES ACROSS-THE-BOARD PURSE INCREASE

The increases range from 10-20 percent,depending upon the purse of the race. Races going for less than $5,000 shall get the higher hike (moving the lowest purse from $7,500 to $9,000), while any race worth $15,000 or more gets a 10 percent rise. Thus, the weekly Open Handicaps move from $40,000 to $44,000.
