CARLOS DANGER VISITING YONKERS MONDAY NIGHT
...Carlos Danger is coming to town for Labor Day. and-go figure-he finds himself behind the eight-ball.
'Carlos,' named after the alter ego of, well, you know, drew the far outside position Monday night for Yonkers Raceway's $15,000, third-race pace.
His name notwithstanding, the four-legged Carlos Danger is a bit camera-shy, as in one win in 20 lifetime starts. That victory was here Independence Night (see accompanying photo), so perhaps he prefers to work holidays.
'Carlos' is a 3-year-old statebred colt (no shot he'd be a gelding) who has been competing primarily in New York Sire Stakes event. Monday's opposition is considerably easier, so perhaps the 5-1 morning-line proposition can get that elusive second photo to send around to his, er, pals.
