YONKERS, FRENCH DRIVERS IN TRANSATLANTIC COMPETITIONYONKERS, FRENCH DRIVERS IN TRANSATLANTIC COMPETITIONBY FRANK DRUCKER, Publicity Director, Empire City @ Yonkers Raceway YONKERS, NY, Friday, March 4, 2016-A quintet of Yonkers Raceway's best drivers are set to match mettle against their French counterparts in the inaugural Drivers' Cup. The two-nation competition begins at the Raceway Sunday afternoon (March 20), with races 2 and 4-a pair of events included among those simulcast to the French-hubbed audience. The Cup then concludes with two races at Vincennes (Paris), one each Friday, June 24, and Sunday, June 27. The Drivers' Cup rosters, as of this writing- --Yonkers Raceway--Jason Bartlett (captain), Tyler Buter, Dan Dube, Pat Lachance and Jordan Stratton; --France-- Pierre Vercruysse (captain), Matthieu Abrivard, Nicolas Ensch, Pierre Levesque and Franck Ouvrie.
