YONKERS TROT/MESSENGER STAKES NIGHT INCLUDES HAT GIVEAWAYYONKERS TROT/MESSENGER STAKES NIGHT INCLUDES HAT GIVEAWAYBY FRANK DRUCKER, Publicity Director, Empire City @ Yonkers Raceway YONKERS, NY, Friday, September 4, 2015-As if a pair of half-million-dollar Triple Crown races aren't enough Saturday evening (Sept. 5), Yonkers Raceway is throwing in a freebie. An ever-popular hat giveaway begins at 4 PM at the first floor promotions booth (while supplies last, for current or newly-enrolled Empire Club members). Post time for the 13-race card is the usual 7:10 PM, with Yonkers Trot No. 61 going as the sixth race (approximate post 8:50 PM) and Messenger Stakes No. 60 as the eighth race (approx. post 9:30 PM). Pinkman and Dealt a Winner look to add the second jewels of their respective Triple Crowns. A look ahead to next Saturday (Sept. 12) finds the New York Night of Champions, Part I, with four, $225,000 sire stakes finals for 3-year-olds of both sexes and gaits.
