YONKERS CANCELS MONDAY, TUESDAY LIVE RACING, AMENDS DRAW SCHEDULE

YONKERS, NY, Monday, January 26, 2015-Yonkers Raceway has cancelled its live racing programs for tonight (Monday, Jan. 26) and tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday, Jan. 27) due to the impending blizzard that's about to sublet the greater New York area.

Live racing is scheduled to resume Thursday night (Jan. 29), with first post at 7:10 PM.

Afternoon simulcasting is taking place this (Monday) afternoon, after which all simulcasting has been cancelled until Wednesday (Jan. 28).

Horsemen are advised that the entry box for Friday's (Jan. 30) card closes today at 11 AM, and there is no draw tomorrow (Tuesday, Jan. 27). A double draw for Saturday (Jan. 31) and Monday (Feb. 2) takes place Wednesday (Jan. 28), with the box closing at 9 AM.. For more information, please contact the race office at (914) 457-2627.
