Empire Report a Valuable Resource for Yonkers Handicappers

Empire Report a Valuable Resource for Yonkers Handicappers

Yonkers, NY --- The Empire Report, launched by the SOA of New York and Yonkers Raceway only a month ago, has quickly established itself as a mustread publication for both its daily analysis of all horses in-to-go each night at Yonkers Raceway, as well as its post-race reviews, detailing everything that transpired on the racetrack. These reports have been praised by industry insiders, public handicappers, bloggers, as well as the on track patrons who look forward to receiving them on race nights.

A couple of recent examples where followers of The Empire Report might have benefited include:

Monday, Sept. 1, Race 3 - 7 COUNTRYGIRL AS was parked last week and ultimately made a break - Brennan might go easier here off a qualifier, but I'm sure she has more than enough talent to win this ($30.80 winner)

Friday, August 29, Race 5 - 3 LUCKY LUCKY LEO was unable to sustain his bid last week, but has put forth many good tries this level, and I like the way he's been travelling since the addition of "go straights" - could easily rebound ($17 winner)

Following the post-race comments has been beneficial as well:

Tuesday, August 26th, Race 7 Review - GAVINS DESIGNER was stuck behind a blockade caused by #8 and forced to go three wide from near the rear at the 5/8ths, somehow sustained that rally all the way to the wire and may have been a nice 14-1 winner with any "normal" trip ($11.40 winner in next start, Sept. 2nd)

"Both Yonkers Raceway and the SOA of New York are committed to providing handicappers with the best available tools for success,” said Bob Galterio, Chief Operating Office at Yonkers Raceway. "We've done that with our rewards system on empirecitybets.com which offers all players 8% rebates on wagers at Yonkers. And now with the daily Empire Report, bettors can get in depth information and analysis on every race."

The Empire Report can be accessed for free at www.yonkersraceway.com/cer every racing day. Links for reviews and analysis can be found just below the Entries and Results area.

Yonkers Raceway hosts the 25th edition of the New York Night of Champions Saturday night with $1.8 million in sire stakes finals for two and three-year olds. First race is at 7:10pm and the Yonkers card includes a $10,000 guaranteed 50 cent Pick 5 pool which covers races five through nine.

Yonkers live racing continues Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with a 7:10pm first post. The schedule shifts to include daytime racing on Sundays beginning November 9 and continuing through the last day of the meet Sunday December 14. Once Sunday racing begins, Tuesday evenings will be dropped from the racing schedule.
